Hooray for Spring!

More light in the evenings, slightly better weather, and blossoms galore - I love this time of year! We've been celebrating by exploring more local parks and moving most of my walks to the great outdoors instead of the treadmill.

Someone shares my feelings about the treadmill...

Much better!!

Updates
How far along: 28 weeks
Maternity clothes: Still a mix, which I figure isn't too bad for officially being in the third trimester.
Sleep: Sigh...
Best moment this week: Getting some outdoor mileage in the evenings!
Missing anything? Running. I wasn't a huge runner, but I've been dreaming about it again recently. I think what I miss is the ability to comfortably go for a run when the inclination hits.
Movement: I had my first experience with movement where I clearly felt a limb, and to be honest it was an incredibly disturbing sensation. I'll take any movement over none, of course, but I prefer the ones that don't feel quite so alien!
Cravings: Peanut butter with raspberry preserves on toast, and fruit in general. Still loving grape tomatoes, but only a specific brand will do!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Ketchup and other people's food.
Gender: Snips and snails...
Labour signs: Nope!
Symptoms: The usual - forgetful, clumsy, puffy, and tired.
Happy or moody: Oh so grumpy, with rage being triggered daily by adults lacking basic table manners.
Looking forward to: Getting construction started on our lot once the loan funds!
Funny moments: I'm sure there were, but they're hard to remember after a less than positive couple of weeks.

Obsession Of The Week:
Ella Mae sings "An American Trilogy" by Elvis Presley
This video is one of the most precious things I've ever seen, and definitely worth watching in its entirety, but my favorite part starts at the 4:10 mark. It gives me hope that life will be more than Barney and the Wiggles* on endless repeat!
*Or whatever baby/toddler music is popular nowadays.

And by good stuff we mean things at least as old as us, right? Just say no to Red Hot Chili Peppers ;)
